Red Run Golf Club has maintained a tradition of excellence in competition, camaraderie and ambiance since it's beginnings in 1914. Over the years, the club has benefited from its diverse membership, improving the quality of the facilities and strengthening the sportsmanship spirit. Good time to be had by all is of paramount importance to the philosophy of Red Run's members.
In addition to Red Run's excellent golf grounds and facilities, there are many other facets offered with which to participate.
Red Run promotes junior programs in swimming, tennis and golf. Lessons are available in all areas and teams are organized to compete against other clubs. While the children are kept busy, parents can also partake in golf and tennis lessons as well as enjoy many other amenities.
The Pro Shop maintains sophisticated technological equipment, such as the computerized monitor for improving swings, and golf professionals to readily assist members with all their golfing needs. Competition abounds as the men's, ladies and mixed bowling leagues are filled with action and fun for everyone.
The Mixed Grill Room provides a casual dining experience for adults and children accompanied by their parents. During the warm summer months, our brick patio and covered porch areas offer unparalleled dining venues with beautiful views of the first and eighteenth holes.
There are many settings at Red Run which provide a special ambiance for any occasion. The main clubhouse is capable of hosting a wide range of events always presented with an elegant and classic touch. A feeling of serenity can be found while sitting on the outdoor porch area overlooking the first tee.
Emphasis is placed on family events with special activities being hosted regularly. A large picnic area provides the perfect setting to join in evening barbeques.
The facilities are offered to provide the comfort and satisfaction for people of all ages and maintains a high standard of social life for our members.
We have 10 covered tees that are heated in the winter and cooled by overhead fans in the summer. Our other 65 tees allow you to get out of doors and in the sun. We also have a complete short game area complete with a sand bunker, and our range is over 250 yards deep, allowing you to hit any club in your bag.
You can also bring the kids for an evening of mini golf on our 18-hole Adventure-Style championship course. We can even accomodate group outings and parties!
We also offer professional instruction from our seasoned PGA and LPGA golf pros. Golf is a year-round sport, and we'll keep you “in the game” all year!

Municipal Golf Courses
Two nine-hole municipal golf courses are open to Royal Oak residents and businesses. Royal Oak Golf Club and Normandy Oaks offer open golf, with league play available at Normandy Oaks. Both courses feature a pro shop and individual or group instruction by the golf pro.
Membership Policy
Memberships include husband, wife and all children between the ages of 10 and 17, with proof of age.
Members are responsible for informing guests regarding golf course rules including dress code. Rules are enforced at the discretion of proshop personnel.
Juniors 10 through 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Proof of residency and age must be provided at time of membership purchase
